Scouts
do adventure by ATV. Suggested and co-organized by patrol leaders, the
troop had an amazing Sunday morning. Learning basic mechanics of an ATV
and learning to ride and control one was first time for many. The team
went from one end of Tungku beach and to the furthest side they are
allowed to go. It was also a great way to explore potential sites for
next activities.
The
company engaged was RIFF ATV and they gave some briefing and guided the
convoy throughout the activities. Safety first was the utmost
important. Students must wear helmets and never overtake the ATV guide.
There was a parent support as well as visiting teacher who also helped
in keeping the students safe.
This
is just a trail for the next activity. There might be a camp out
planned before or after exams. We identified a good spot that has wind
barrier and adequate shade. In conclusion, it was another great
scout-style weekend!
