School Service is just as important as community service. This is
apparent during the yearly sports day, where all members were on duty helping
out athletes, teachers, carrying things and crowd control during the day-long
event. The principal commented on the dedication and all those on duty including
the scout troop.
The service is taken into account as part of the troop service
report for the year. It can be added to all the members’ scout standard and
advance scout standard pursuits. For the ventures and rovers, this also adds to
their service requirements.
